Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Pike Manufacturing and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be supplier orders. You would join a small organisation of about 16 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Keep stock linked to tooling at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support tooling. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
