Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Hartford, CT)

Bluepeak Lantern Pharma supports drug development and manufacturing around Hartford. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to clinical studies at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support clinical studies. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
