Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Hartford, CT)

Rivermark Nest Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Hartford. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. You would join a large organisation of about 322 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to shrink and waste at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support shrink and waste. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
