Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Hartford, CT)

Rivermark Haven Construction delivers building projects for owners across the Hartford region, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our supplier orders. You would join a small organisation of about 17 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to materials orders at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support materials orders. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
