Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Grand Rapids, MI)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Hollow Freight Partners and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be supplier orders. You would join a large organisation of about 761 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to loads and lanes at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support loads and lanes. • Experience with an ERP system.
