Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Grand Rapids, MI)

Nova Thistle Property Management is a Grand Rapids property manager with leasing, maintenance and resident services, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our supplier orders. Residents are neighbours, not numbers. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to vendor invoices at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support vendor invoices. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
