Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Fresno, CA)

Bluepeak Rowan Foods Group produces packaged foods at its Fresno plant. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to cold storage at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support cold storage. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Fresno. • We reply to every applicant.
