Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Fresno, CA)

Lumen Orchard Farms is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on supplier orders for harvest schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to harvest schedules at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Fresno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
