Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Fresno, CA)

Highbridge Forge Freight is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on supplier orders for carrier rates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We reward reliability. What you will do • Keep stock linked to carrier rates at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support carrier rates. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Fresno. • We reply to every applicant.
