Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Detroit, MI)

Redstone Fox Markets is a Detroit retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to store inventory at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support store inventory. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
