Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Detroit, MI)

Westbrook Maple Auto Group is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on supplier orders for supplier deliveries, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 98 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to supplier deliveries at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support supplier deliveries. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
