Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Detroit, MI)

Rivermark Pike Construction Partners is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on supplier orders for project schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 45 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to project schedules at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support project schedules. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
