Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Des Moines, IA)

Cedar Ember Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Des Moines, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our supplier orders. We celebrate small wins and steady routines. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to enrolment at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support enrolment. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
