Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Des Moines, IA)

Clearpath River Markets is a Des Moines retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our supplier orders. You would join a small organisation of about 32 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to shrink and waste at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support shrink and waste. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
