Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Columbus, OH)

Westbrook Clear Freight Associates moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Columbus. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. You would join a small organisation of about 161 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to proof of delivery at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support proof of delivery. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Columbus. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
