Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Chicago, IL)

Lumen Corner Pharma is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on supplier orders for release testing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 19 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Keep stock linked to release testing at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support release testing. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
