Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Chicago, IL)

Redstone Thistle Construction Partners is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on supplier orders for subcontractor invoices, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Site safety is non-negotiable. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to subcontractor invoices at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support subcontractor invoices. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
