Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Chicago, IL)

Rivermark Lantern Property Management is a Chicago property manager with leasing, maintenance and resident services. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. Maintenance and leasing staff share information every day. What you will do • Keep stock linked to lease renewals at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support lease renewals. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
