Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Charlotte, NC)

Cedar Stone Freight is a Charlotte logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. You would join a large organisation of about 799 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Keep stock linked to carrier rates at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support carrier rates. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
