Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Charlotte, NC)

Amberfield Meadow Housing Associates manages affordable housing communities across Charlotte. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. You would join a large organisation of about 627 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to maintenance stores at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support maintenance stores. • Experience with an ERP system.
