Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Charleston, SC)

Cedar Meadow Manufacturing is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on supplier orders for tooling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 345 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to tooling at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support tooling.
