Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Charleston, SC)

Westbrook Timber Auto Group Partners is a Charleston company supplying vehicle parts and service. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. You would join a large organisation of about 239 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to parts orders at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support parts orders. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
