Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Buffalo, NY)

Harborlight Wilder Construction delivers building projects for owners across the Buffalo region, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our supplier orders. You would join a large organisation of about 438 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to change orders at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support change orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
