Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Boston, MA)

Foxglove Ember Markets Group serves neighbourhoods around Boston with fresh food and everyday goods, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our supplier orders. You would join a large organisation of about 325 people based in Boston. What you will do • Keep stock linked to supplier deliveries at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Boston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
