Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Nova Nest Manufacturing Group and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be supplier orders. You would join a large organisation of about 644 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Keep stock linked to customer orders at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support customer orders. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
