Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Timber Auto Group Partners and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be supplier orders. You would join a large organisation of about 567 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to vehicle inspections at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support vehicle inspections. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
