Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Baltimore, MD)

Bright Field Markets serves neighbourhoods around Baltimore with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. You would join a large organisation of about 798 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Keep stock linked to pricing at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support pricing. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
