Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Atlanta, GA)

We are growing our team at Lumen Fern Freight Group and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be supplier orders. We reward reliability. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to dock schedules at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support dock schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Atlanta, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
