Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Atlanta, GA)

Cedar Manufacturing Group is a Atlanta manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. You would join a small organisation of about 102 people based in Atlanta. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to tooling at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support tooling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Atlanta, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
