Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Anchorage, AK)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Manufacturing Group and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be supplier orders. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to production lines at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support production lines. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
