Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Anchorage, AK)

Northwind Drift Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Anchorage. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to sanitation schedules at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support sanitation schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
