Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Virginia Beach, VA)

Highbridge Yarrow Foods Group is a Virginia Beach food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to cold storage at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support cold storage. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
