Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Virginia Beach, VA)

Amberfield Loom Pharma develops and makes medicines in Virginia Beach. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep stock linked to clinical studies at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support clinical studies. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
