Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Virginia Beach, VA)

Highbridge Junction Manufacturing Group is a Virginia Beach manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. You would join a large organisation of about 780 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to production lines at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support production lines. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
