Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Virginia Beach, VA)

Redstone Forge Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Virginia Beach. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to grower contracts at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support grower contracts. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
