Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Virginia Beach, VA)

Nova Lakeside Freight is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on price comparison for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Keep stock linked to claims at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support claims. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
