Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Tucson, AZ)

Harborlight Beacon Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Tucson plant. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Keep stock linked to work orders at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support work orders. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Tucson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
