Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Tampa, FL)

Amberfield Timber Construction delivers building projects for owners across the Tampa region. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to materials orders at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support materials orders. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Tampa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
