Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Tampa, FL)

Ironwood Quarry Freight is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on price comparison for proof of delivery, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to proof of delivery at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support proof of delivery. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Tampa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
