Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (St. Louis, MO)

We are growing our team at Redstone Mill Freight and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be price comparison. You would join a small organisation of about 131 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to carrier rates at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support carrier rates. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in St. Louis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
