Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Seattle, WA)

Ironwood Quarry Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Seattle. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. You would join a small organisation of about 169 people based in Seattle. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to proof of delivery at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support proof of delivery. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Seattle. • We reply to every applicant.
