Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Seattle, WA)

Lumen Pike Markets serves neighbourhoods around Seattle with fresh food and everyday goods, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. You would join a small organisation of about 13 people based in Seattle. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to store inventory at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support store inventory. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Seattle. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
