Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Savannah, GA)

Summit Basin Foods Group is a Savannah food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to sanitation schedules at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support sanitation schedules. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Savannah, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
