Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Savannah, GA)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Ashton Foods Group and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be price comparison. You would join a small organisation of about 21 people based in Savannah. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to ingredient orders at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support ingredient orders. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Savannah. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
