Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (San Jose, CA)

Westbrook Thistle Early Learning runs childcare centres in San Jose caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to family communication at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support family communication. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
