Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (San Jose, CA)

We are growing our team at Lumen Meadow Press Partners and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be price comparison. You would join a small organisation of about 23 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to print quotes at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support print quotes. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
