Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (San Jose, CA)

Ironwood Orchard Farms Associates supplies farm and food customers across the San Jose region, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to harvest schedules at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support harvest schedules. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
