Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (San Diego, CA)

Harborlight Amber Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around San Diego, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. You would join a small organisation of about 24 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to classroom supplies at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support classroom supplies. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
