Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (San Antonio, TX)

Foxglove Bright Press is a printer and publisher in San Antonio serving local and national clients, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Keep stock linked to customer orders at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support customer orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
