Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Sacramento, CA)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Loom Construction Group and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be price comparison. You would join a small organisation of about 193 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to change orders at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support change orders. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
